Garden
Bench Is Easy to Make
Garden
accessories
are great used finds!
This garden bench with your own creations and art objects may be just
the solution for the garden accessory you need at your front entry,
on your front porch or a fun sitting place along a little
stepping stone path.
Everything
on the garden bench are found objects or have just been around
awhile.
The
rock “topiary” is a candle holder found at a thrift
store, with an old rusty metal gear found at a junk yard
topped off with a great white lava rock picked up from a
river while on vacation.
Turned
wood candle holders like this one are a usual assignment in
a woodworking shop class and regularly spotted at thrift
stores and garage sales.
The
black round rocks were picked up on a California beach and
are displayed in this old farm plow blade.
Some
farmers have stacks of these old unusable blades and will
sell them for next to nothing.
You can also find them at metal junk stores.
This
“mosaic” Mexican flower pot filled with geraniums really gives
the whole garden or porch tablescape a
punch of color and makes me smile.
Instructions to make the flower
pot
can be found
here.
The
finishing art object for this little garden display is the
sculptural rusted wire found near a construction dumpster in
a new housing development.
A
garden accessory piece like this bench is a go anywhere piece and
can jazz up any area. Find
